🧘 What Is a Wellness Resort?
A Wellness Resort is a tourism project offering:
- Accommodation
- Landscaped green open spaces
- A variety of wellness services including:
- Ayurveda
- Yoga
- Naturopathy
- Unani
- Siddha
- Homeopathy
- Acupuncture
❌ Not Eligible: Standalone gyms, spas, cosmetic centers, skincare clinics, immunization centers, health check-ups, or allopathy-based hospitals.
✅ Only NABH-accredited or in-process wellness centers with hospitality integration are eligible.
📅 Policy Operative Period
- Applicable from 1st January 2021 to 31st December 2025
- Only projects that commence commercial operations within this period are eligible
- New and expansion projects (with 50%+ capacity increase) are eligible
🏛️ Financial Incentives for Wellness Resorts
✅ 1. Capital Subsidy – 15%

- Valid for a period of 5 years from commercial operation
✅ 3. Stamp Duty & Registration Reimbursement – 100%
- Full reimbursement of stamp duty and registration fees on land/lease/ownership transfer
- Must be claimed within 180 days of commercial operation
