β Theme Park
A Theme Park is a recreational tourism project that includes:
- Amusement rides
- Adventure rides
- Water rides
- Accommodation units
- Parking, food courts, safety, and sanitation facilities

π Excludes: Ride facilities inside malls or multiplexes
β Integrated Tourism Destination Theme Park
A multi-facility tourism complex combining several tourism activities at one location. It must include:
- Entertainment & amusement
- Accommodation & restaurants
- Musical fountains, stage shows, camping areas
- Night tourism activities like stargazing, film studios, caravan parks
- MICE events (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions)

π Approval Required: Must obtain clearance from State-Level Empowered Committee (SLEC)

- 100% reimbursement of stamp duty and registration fees on project-related land or lease agreements.
β 4. Eligibility for Market Development Assistance (MDA)
Theme parks can avail subsidy for:
- Participation in tourism fairs
- Organizing events and promotions
- Time limit: Apply within 180 days of the event/publication
