• The guide must possess proficiency in at least one foreign language and hold certification from the Commissioner of Tourism (CoT).
• The guide must be deployed at Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and state ASI sites only.

Quantum of Financial Benefit

The financial assistance provided under the payroll incentive is as follows:

• 25% of the monthly remuneration paid into the account of the tourist guide, OR
• INR 4,000 per person per month for a minimum employment period of six months, subject to a maximum of INR 24,000 per year.

Claim Period for Financial Benefits
